NICCI B WELLNESS · COMPASS TO WELLBEING
You don’t have to figure this out alone. Real, lasting wellbeing isn’t a product you buy or a programme you white-knuckle through - it’s a way of coming home to yourself.
Perhaps you’re the executive who hasn’t slept properly in months. The mum running on caffeine and willpower. The health-curious soul who knows something needs to change but doesn’t know where to start.
Wherever you’re arriving from - you are exactly the right person for this conversation.

Wellness Coaching Is Not Another Wellness Trend
The word wellness gets used so loosely it can feel hollow. But strip away the noise and it points to something ancient and human: the quality of your lived experience - your energy, clarity, resilience, joy, and capacity to be fully present in your own life.
Wellness coaching is a guided, personalised partnership that helps you understand where your health is right now, where you want it to go, and - crucially - how to actually get there.
Not through rigid rules, but through evidence-informed strategies, honest accountability, and an appreciation that you are a whole person: body, mind, and spirit.
“Wellness is not the absence of illness. It is the presence of vitality — a felt sense of aliveness that ripples through every area of your life.”
My role as your wellness coach is to walk alongside you. I listen, I ask the questions you haven’t thought to ask yourself, I offer frameworks and tools, and I hold a vision of your wellbeing steady on days when you can’t hold it yourself.
— Nature as Medicine —
Step outside on a clear morning and let sunlight fall on your face. Within minutes, your body begins converting that light into vitamin D - a hormone that regulates mood, immunity, bone health and sleep cycles.
This is not poetry. It is biochemistry. The natural world has been medicating us for hundreds of thousands of years.
Wellness coaching begins by remembering that.

HOW I WORK WITH YOU
The Four Cornerstones of the Compass to Wellbeing
My approach is built on four interconnected pillars. Neglect one and the others wobble.
Nourish all four and something remarkable becomes possible.
🥦 Pillar One: Nourishment — Food as Information
Together we’ll do a pantry raid and fridge clean-up, untangle the marketing noise from genuine nutrition, and build a meal plan that actually fits your life and budget. This isn’t about perfection or deprivation — it’s about understanding what you’re putting into your body and why it matters. Learn how to meal prep efficiently and shop effectively. I'll share some of my favourite 'food as medicine' recipes with you.
🧠 Pillar Two: Mind - Stress, Calm & Mental Clarity
Chronic stress is not a personality trait. It is a physiological state, and it has a measurable cost. Using breathing techniques, meditation, guided visualisation, and nervous system tools, we create a personal stress-management toolkit that meets you exactly where you are. Online or in-person. Consider an Energy Healing session.
🚶 Pillar Three: Movement — Functional, Joyful, Consistent
Movement was never meant to be punishment. From tailored core and functional exercise programmes to walking companionship and gym support, I help you find what moves you - and stay consistent with it. Accountability changes everything when motivation is unreliable.
🌙 Pillar Four: Rest & Recovery — Your Body’s Superpower
Sleep and recovery are where healing happens. We look at your environment through the lens of feng shui, colour therapy, and energy balancing - body, space, mind, and spirit - alongside targeted supplement guidance and lifestyle shifts to support vagal tone and nervous system regulation.

NOURISHMENT
Eating Well Shouldn’t Be Complicated — Or Expensive
The food industry has done a remarkable job of making nutrition confusing. Labels designed to mislead. Products engineered to override your body’s hunger signals. A wellness industry happy to sell you expensive solutions to problems often solved by a bag of lentils and some seasonal vegetables.
We simplify. Starting with a pantry audit and fridge clean-up, we identify what’s working and what isn’t. Then we build a meal plan around real, affordable, nutrient-dense food - one that accounts for your household budget, your schedule, and your specific health concerns.
Who benefits from nutritional coaching?
Anyone carrying unexplained weight gain or struggling to lose weight sustainably
Those dealing with digestive issues - bloating, constipation, indigestion, IBS symptoms
People with chronic inflammation, gout, or related metabolic concerns
The perpetually low-energy - those relying on stimulants to function
Families wanting to eat better without overhauling their budget
Bite into a ripe mango. The sweetness, the juice, the bright colour - this is nature signalling nutrition to every sense at once. Fruit, vegetables, herbs, spices, nuts and seeds: these are not diet food. They are the original medicine cabinet, and they taste extraordinary when we stop processing the life out of them.
Research consistently shows that a whole-food, predominantly plant-forward diet reduces markers of systemic inflammation - a key driver of conditions from joint pain to cardiovascular disease to depression. We don’t need a pharmaceutical intervention for every health concern. Often, we need better food.

STRESS & MENTAL HEALTH
Stress Is Costing You More Than You Realise
When the body is stuck in a prolonged stress response - fight, flight, or freeze - every system suffers. Digestion slows. Hormones become dysregulated. Sleep deteriorates. The immune system is suppressed. Over time, this cascade contributes to anxiety, depression, fatigue, insomnia, hormonal disruption, and even conditions like impotence and brain fog.
This is not weakness. It is physiology. And physiology can be shifted.
Tools we work with:
Breathwork — techniques like box breathing and diaphragmatic breathing that directly activate the parasympathetic nervous system within minutes
Meditation — accessible, un-mystified, and evidence-backed for reducing cortisol and improving emotional regulation
Guided visualisation — using the brain’s neuroplasticity to rehearse calm, capability, and possibility
Vagal nerve support — the vagus nerve is the body’s own ‘rest and digest’ switch; we use gentle, natural tools to keep it responsive
Nervous system lifestyle habits — supplement guidance, rhythm and routine, digital hygiene, and the simple power of time in nature
Sit beside a running stream. The sound of moving water - lapping, rushing, tumbling over stones - has a measurable effect on the nervous system. Research in environmental psychology confirms that exposure to natural soundscapes lowers cortisol levels and reduces sympathetic nervous system activity. Your body knows how to rest. Sometimes it just needs permission - and the right environment.

MOVEMENT
Movement Is Not Optional — But It Doesn’t Have to Be Miserable
Movement is one of the most potent medicines available to us. It regulates mood (via endorphins, serotonin and BDNF), improves insulin sensitivity, supports bone density, strengthens the cardiovascular system, and enhances sleep quality. The research on this is not contested - it is overwhelming.
The problem is rarely knowledge. Most people know they should move more. The problem is motivation, consistency, pain, injury history, self-consciousness, or simply not knowing where to start when your body hasn’t been moved with intention in years.
What movement coaching looks like with me:
A tailored functional movement programme that accounts for your current fitness level, any injuries or limitations, and your goals
Core strengthening that supports your spine, posture, and everyday function - not just aesthetics
Walking companionship - sometimes the most healing thing is simply moving together
Gym partnership for those who need guidance, confidence, or accountability in a gym environment
Education on how to listen to your body and distinguish productive discomfort from pain
Walking through a forest - what the Japanese call shinrin-yoku, or forest bathing - has been shown to reduce blood pressure, lower cortisol, increase natural killer cell activity (our immune system’s cancer-fighting cells), and improve mood within as little as twenty minutes. We were not designed for fluorescent-lit offices. We are animals shaped by mountains, forests, rivers, and open sky. Movement in nature is doubly medicine.

— Pillar Four · Rest —
REST & RECOVERY
Rest Is Not Laziness. Recovery Is Not Weakness.
We live in a culture that glorifies busyness and treats rest as reward rather than necessity. This is one of the most expensive myths of modern life. Sleep is when the brain’s glymphatic system clears metabolic waste. It is when muscle tissue is repaired. When memory is consolidated. When immune function is restored. When hormones are balanced. Chronic under-sleep and poor recovery are serious health risks.
Rest and recovery support includes:
Feng shui and environmental optimisation - your bedroom is your recovery room; light, colour, air, clutter and sound all matter
Colour therapy - specific wavelengths of light genuinely influence mood, alertness, and melatonin production
Energy balancing - addressing the subtle interplay between your environment, your emotional state, and your physical body
Supplement guidance - targeted, evidence-informed recommendations (magnesium, adaptogens, and others as appropriate) to support sleep and recovery
Vagus nerve activation practices - cold exposure, humming, deep diaphragmatic breathing, and gentle movement
Digital and lifestyle hygiene - crafting an evening rhythm that signals safety to your nervous system
Watch the sun drop below the horizon. Within minutes, your body begins producing melatonin - cued not by a pill, but by the fading of blue-spectrum light. Stand in cool air before bed and feel your core temperature drop as sleep approaches. Smell the damp earth after rain. Hear silence settle. The natural world offers a complete library of sleep cues we have largely unplugged ourselves from. Recovery coaching begins, in part, by reconnecting the dots.

ADDITIONAL BENEFITS
What Else You Gain When We Work Together
Beyond the four cornerstones, working with a wellness coach brings advantages that are harder to put on a list but no less real:
Clarity - you understand your own body better than you ever have, and that knowledge is permanently yours
Accountability without shame - I am not here to judge. I am here to notice, reflect, and gently challenge
Community and connection - there is something powerful about being witnessed in your effort to grow
Habit architecture - we build micro-habits that compound quietly until they become second nature
Personalised pacing - we move at the speed that is sustainable for your life, not an idealised version of it
Reduced healthcare costs over time - prevention is consistently more affordable than treatment
Joy - because wellness should feel good, not punishing; because the point is a life worth living

— Is This For You? —
YOUR PEOPLE
You Might Be Exactly Who I Had in Mind
Wellness coaching is for anyone who feels the gap between how they are living and how they want to feel - and is ready to start bridging it. I particularly understand and work well with:
The wellness seeker - curious, motivated, perhaps overwhelmed by contradictory advice and ready for a coherent approach
The wannabe biohacker - fascinated by performance optimisation but wanting to ground it in sustainable, natural methods
The tired, overwhelmed mum - who has poured herself into everyone else and is ready to take her own health seriously
The burnt-out executive - performing at a high level externally while silently running on empty
Packages are negotiated individually to suit your needs, your goals, and your budget. Because wellbeing should be accessible - not a luxury reserved for those who can afford a premium.
Close your eyes for a moment. Imagine standing at the edge of a mountain. The air is clean and cold, carrying the faint scent of pine and rain-washed rock. Far below, a valley unfolds in shades of green so deep they seem to hum. You breathe in - really in - and your chest opens in a way it hasn’t in months. Your shoulders drop. The noise in your head settles.
This is what your body is reaching for. This is the state your nervous system was designed to return to. And it is available to you — not only on mountains, but in the texture of your ordinary days, when you know how to tend to yourself.
